8 Ways To Entice Your Date To Call You The Next Day

Simply put a date is ‘boy meets girl’. You are alone with the man you hope will be the father of your children. Is he going to call you the next day to ask for another night out? Will he finally fall on one knee and ask you to marry him? Here are some tips on what to do to get called the next day.
  • Dress in a way that makes you feel sexy and also flatters your figure. Leave the stilettos home they do not look good on some women. Red is almost always a good color. Try a red slinky dress and comfortable undergarments. Those torture devices some women use to suck in the stomach look great under the dress but are not sexy at all when you are trying to take them off.
  • Pay attention to what your date has to say. Yes you can talk about yourself but a man finds it really refreshing when a woman allows him to speak and be listened to.
  • Don't talk about your ex. If he asks, keep it short and sweet. You are starting fresh with this guy. No need to bring in the ghost of past relationships. You are perfect to him in the beginning. There is no reason to make him wonder if the last guy who left you was right.
  • Wear a light attractive scent. This means layering scents. Bathe in scented bath oils first. Then apply a light powder in the same scent. Finally spray the same scented perfume in front of you and walk into the mist. Do this about 45 minutes before you see him. If you overpower him with your scent, instead of wanting to come closer to you he will be running for the nearest exit.
  • If you bring him back to your place make sure it is dimly lit. Soft lighting minimizes lines and wrinkles and gives your skin a bit of a glow. Keep candles handy or lamps that have adjustable lighting. In soft lighting you can be his dream woman and you can feel a thousand times better about undressing in front of him.
  • Do a strip tease for him. Now I am not talking about a ten-dollar hooker strip tease. I mean a slow undressing. Have him lie on the bed to watch, as you slowly undress: your undies, your stockings and finally your shoes. Make him wait a bit.
  • Explore his body in detail. Most women just lie there and let the guy do all the work. Participate but don’t be controlling, and you have just blown past most of the women he has had sex with.
  • The contemporary view is that there are no hard and fast rules on whether you should have sex with your date on the first night out. It is your judgment call based on your reading of hints he might have dropped during the course of the night on whether he is one who will stay around, or in search of a one-night-stand.
Importantly, before you allow your date to enter your bedroom, check his background by talking with his friends and relatives if you know them, and be sure that he is really who he says he is

Argument For Conducting Background Checks On Job Applicants

Job applicants sometimes express concern about employers request to conduct personal background checks, which may include information on their marital, dating and credit history. They argue that such information maybe misused once it became public.

Employers, on the other hand, argue that conducting personal background checks give them a feel for the applicant’s character. Personal and professional references are a good starting point, however, experts in the investigative field caution employers on using this method alone.

Prospective employees are obviously going to give references of people whom they trust will provide a good character reference for them. Those references may not necessarily be fabricating information regarding the applicant; they simply may not know pertinent information about him or her. Other ways that a prospective employee background may be checked are:
  • An employer may also obtain a credit report on the prospective employee. While privacy advocates have questioned the necessity of reviewing credit reports, many employers find them as useful source of information on what types of credit accounts the applicant has open and their history of paying bills on time.
  • For some employers, this is a good indicator of how responsible a prospective employee will be. Employers also may draw a correlation between credit history, job performance and employee retention. Though these conclusions are heatedly debated, according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, employers do have the right to investigate much of a person’s credit history as a pre-employment tool.
  • Credit reports also contain pertinent job and address information. Some employers and private investigation firms use credit reports as a means of cross-referencing information supplied on the employment application, but it should be used with other personal background check methods in order to have a comprehensive view of the applicant’s character and ability to perform his duties.
  • Credit report often report data on age and marital status. Employers should already be familiar with privacy and equal opportunity legislation and be careful not to discriminate on the basis of these facts; limiting their use of such data to ensuring the safety and security of the company without violating Federal laws.
  • Identity theft, criminal prosecutions, outstanding debt and bankruptcies are all examples of information that can be acquired through a personal background check. It is the responsibility of the employer to only gather what information is needed to ensure the safety and security of the company, and as a tool to judge the character and job performance of the employee.
  • If an employer should need a more extensive background check, things such as who the employee has dated, use of alcohol or drugs or personal lifestyle can also be obtained. Such information is usually gathered by interviewing his neighbors, friends, associates, former co-workers and others to gain a picture of the applicant as a whole.
  • When investigating a prospective employee’s background, it is good business practice to be honest about your intentions. Federal law requires employers to provide separate consent forms for each type of investigation to be conducted. Additionally, background checks on employees can save companies money by avoiding potential lawsuits, theft, and costly employee retention.

It is advisable to outsource the background investigation to a private firm, if the information required is very detailed. For some employers, searching at the local or state level is much more cost-effective and may produce the results they need without outsourcing.

9 Tips To Maximize Your Chances Of Obtaining A Small Business Loan

To get approval for your small business loan application requires that you meet the lending criteria set down by the lender. Some business operations are more risk averse than others, and will therefore have more stringent criteria.
To vastly increase your chances of a successful funding application, you will need to present the following information:
  • The reason for the loan must be clearly stated. The lender will be looking for information on activities that fits within the normal range and expertise of your business. The amount you need may cover a number of items, so you will need to cover each.
  • The amount required, and the repayment term of the small business loan you want. For example, $50,000 term 5 years, payable quarterly.
  • Details of how you will repay the amount borrowed. For example, from the increase in profits, reduced operating costs, or from the sales of a new product.
  • Details of security you will be able to offer to the lender. This will act as reassurance for the lender. If you’re not prepared to put up some form of security to share in the business risk, then why should they?
  • You will need to include your business plan, which will aim at answering essential questions relating to management capabilities, information about the market you operate in, the future prospects of your line of business, etc.
  • A minimum of 3 Years financial statements. You will need to present quality financial information from your accounting software, preferably signed off by your accountant or tax adviser.
  • Latest Set of Management accounts. Again produced from your accounting software.
  • Accounts receivables (debtors) and payables (creditors) past reports. This requirement applies to businesses, which have been in operation for more than three years.
  • Financial statements of the owners of the business – particularly required if some form of security is necessary to back the loan.
If you have a new business, the emphasis is going to be on your business plan, and the security or collateral you can provide against the loan. You must take the time to practice presenting your case to the lender to iron out any glitches. Practice on your colleagues or financial consultant letting them to ask the questions the lender may ask.

Fighting Acne With Natural Remedies That Work

Acne is primarily a disorder of the sebaceous glands, which are glands in the skin that secrete an oily substance on the face, the neck and back. When the sebaceous glands become clogged with the oily substance they secrete, the accumulation results in inflamed red pimples or acne vulgaris found primarily in adolescents.

The exact cause of acne is unknown, but factors that contribute to this condition include heredity, oily skin and androgens. Other factors include allergies, stress, the use of certain drugs, nutritional deficiencies, liver dysfunction, industrial pollutants, cosmetics and the monthly menstrual cycle.

Here are some natural remedies you may want to consider to manage your acne:

  • Apply distilled white vinegar - diluted if too strong - to the face and affected areas. Allow this to sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing off with cool water.

  • Lemon or any citric fruit works great as a natural exfoliate, removing dead skin cells that may clog the pours. Apply the juice of a lemon, or desired citric juice, to the face. Allow it to dry for about 10 minutes, then rinse with cool water. You may feel a mild sting or burn when the lemon juice is applied. If so, diluting the juice is acceptable.

  • Increase water consumption. Water helps flush toxin out and help transport nutrients in the body. Eat a balanced diet to ensure proper nutrition. Take a high quality multivitamin and mineral supplement to make up for nutrients missing in normal meals.

  • Echinacea or Oregon grape can be used to boost the immune system and fight acne-causing bacteria. Dandelion, Burdock or red clover can help to keep the liver clear of toxic overload.

  • Herbal combinations such as Natures Sunshine's Ayurvedic Skin Detox and BP-X can also be used to cleanse and detoxify the liver and reduce acne.

  • Historically, vitamin A has been successfully used to treat severe acne. However, large amounts can be toxic and should be used under the supervision of your health care provider.

  • Consider adding zinc to your diet. Zinc aids in the healing of tissues and assists in preventing scarring. It is also important for the body in resisting infection and inflammation.

Note that it takes between 2 – 4 weeks to see results using natural remedies. Consult with your physician before using any natural acne remedy.

Do You Need Help On Bad Credit?

Are you one of the millions with no credit, and no collateral to secure approval for a loan or credit card, or you just have extremely bad credit and no one wants to help you, and all you hear are stories and more stories?

Bad credit is a term used to describe a poor credit rating. Common practices that can damage your credit rating include making late payments, skipping payments, exceeding credit card limits, or declaring bankruptcy. Bad credit rating can result in being denied credit, and in some cases even employment.

The good news is that raising your credit rating is possible. This is important because lenders will give people with high credit rating lower interest rates on mortgages, car loans and credit cards.

Your credit rating is part of a statistical method used to assess your credit worthiness, based on your credit card history, the amount of outstanding debt, the type of credit used, bankruptcies, collection accounts and judgments, too little credit history or too many credit lines are all included in arriving at your credit score.

Here are six things you can do to raise your credit score:

  • Your credit score is what shows up in your credit report. Review your credit report from all three credit bureaus: Experian, Trans Union and Equifax once every year, and at least three months before applying for a loan or credit card, as it can take 30 days or more to correct a mistake on your credit report.

  • Find a job, or better still two jobs to earn enough income to begin making your credit card payment on time. Aim at paying more than the monthly minimum payment on each card, as your payment history makes up 35% of your total credit score.

  • Avoid as far as possible missing a payment on any credit card, as that can take off 50 to 100 points from your credit score. Paying your bills on time is the best way to rebuilding your credit rating and raising your credit score.

  • An important factor in determining your credit score is how much money you owe on your credit cards compared with your total credit limit. Generally, it is advisable to keep your balances at or below 25% of your total credit card limit.

  • With today’s credit scoring statistical method, closing old credit card accounts could hurt your credit score, since doing so will lower the total credit available to you, and cause your current credit card balances to appear larger relative to your total credit limit.

  • Aim at avoiding bankruptcy. A bankruptcy is the single worst thing that you can do to your credit score. It will lower your score by 200 points or more, and remain on your credit report for 10 years. During that period, you may get credit only from high-interest lenders, if at all. Money you could keep in your pocket will go to paying high interest rates for everything you buy on credit.

When you are deep in debt, and the debt collectors are ringing your phone off the hock, the easiest way out may seem to file for bankruptcy, but also the most problematic in the long run. By getting credit counseling instead of filing for bankruptcy you can get the credit collectors off your back, as well as raise your credit score in a shorter period of time.

7 Power Habits To Make You Financially Independent

Are you always running out of money? Do you have to borrow sometimes to meet your basic needs? Are you often late in paying your bills?

If you answer mostly yes, then you are in danger of becoming financially unstable. Should any misfortune occur in your life, like loosing your job, or falling ill, it will bring you into financial ruin.

The flipside of financial ruin is financial independence. Being financially independence is having the ability to determine the direction of your life, and to support yourself through your own efforts. These 7 power habits will guarantee your financial independence.

  • Start with a vision. What is your vision for your life? Do you see yourself being financially independent? Do you want a stable and secure life for yourself and for your family? If so hold that vision constantly before your mind’s eyes, and let every choice and decision you make lead to that end.

  • Generate income. Your income will be the foundation of your vision. This will generally be income from your job, but do not be content with that alone. Increase your income by investing your time and money into a business that you feel passionate about, and make sure it will work. If it does not work, you will certainly loose your money.

  • Put some money away for your future. Every month allot a percentage of your present income to savings. Avoid touching it unless it is absolutely necessary. Money in the bank is secured and can also earn interest: although you can earn more interest when you invest in stocks and shares, but make such investment only with money that you can afford to loose, because you may loose it.

  • Spend your money wisely. If you are spending all your present income every month, then you are not spending your money wisely. Buy things that you really need. Do not aim at showing off on your friends that you can outspend them. Avoid incurring excessive debt, as credit card debt could lock you into a situation where the bulk of your income goes to paying debt with insufficient amount left to meet your present living expenses.

  • You must plan ahead for events in the future. Make sure that your financial assets are secured. Insure your life, health and properties, even the lives of your loved ones. Be sure that all these transactions are legal, and that you have the financial means to maintain them.

  • In relation to your future plans, your health comes first. The way to be financially independent is when you are physically and psychologically able to do so. Have regular check ups with your physician. Do not smoke. Have a healthy diet, and exercise regularly.

  • Financial independence demands confidence and focus. Do not be distracted by whimsical desires or procrastination. Every cent and every minute counts, as what you do today will determines what you will have in the future. But, remember to be compassionate to the needy and kind to your neighbors.

These pointers are for informational purpose only. Consult a professional before investing into any business, or in the Stock Exchange.

Things You Should Know About Successful Leaders

Since leadership involves the exercise of power, it is easily corrupted, knowing human nature as we do.

  • A leader whose exercise of power causes fear in his subordinates will succeed in killing all individual initiatives in the organization that he heads. Nobody will dare contradict his views for fear of been punished or loosing his job. Such a leader alone will make all the decisions, and when he is wrong, will take the entire organization down with him.

  • On the other hand, a leader whose exercise of power leaves the unmistakable impression of genuinely wanting to be helpful will encourage individual initiatives in his organization. And although he will receive thousands of ideas and suggestions from his subordinates – some of which may not make sense at all – he will certainly find some that will improve the quality of his decisions.

  • Here we see two different approaches to the exercise of power and leadership. The guy in the pin-stripe suit, and the one with the dog collar are not the only leaders. What’s more their view of life, their definitions and their list of priorities are not the only way to lead.

  • Take your teachers; the ones who made you tuck your shirt in, do your tie up, remove your make up, ear rings, and often your smile.

  • Take your parents; doing their best as the leaders of your home and your childhood; using what they had and what they knew to bring you up with good morals and good values so you would be an acceptable member of society.

  • Take your peers: the leaders, the tall kids in the playground who developed first and got all the attention from the opposite sex. The first guy to have a car, the first one to leave and got a job, and rose rapidly through the corporate ranks into leadership positions.

  • In forming our own perception on what leadership is all about, we are often tempted to accept the ready made standard of leadership based on what the business experts think. Too often we gravitate toward the type of leadership skills that leads to the accumulation of material things.

  • Are you a leader who seeks inclusion and participation of all members of your organization when formulating your decisions? Are you a leader whose subordinates do not hesitate to come to with their problems? Are you a leader who uses persuasion instead of punishment to drive the implementation of your decisions?

  • Perhaps the standard of leadership of a person who walks her dog, chatting with the mums and kids on their way to the school bus, or the parent who handles the tantrum of a child with gentle persuasion, or the leader who helps you settle into a community by throwing a party for you, or the leader who helps an elderly person to cross the street, are the types of leaders we might want to consider being.

Real leadership is about creating a space for people to freely express themselves, and to give recognition to those whose ideas and suggestions have made a difference in the operation of the organization. Real leadership is about finding, defining and using your God given gifts in ways that changes, enhances and make better the lives of people affected by your decisions.

Triphala - The Ancient Secret To Good Health

Around middle age many people cannot resist settling into a sedentary lifestyle. They work at offices where they sit all day. A short walk takes them to their cars or buses; then spend the rest of the evening on a couch in front of the TV.
  • It is no wonder that the common problems among such people are indigestion, constipation, inflammation in the bowels, bloating, overweight, gall bladder problems and so on. Feeling uncomfortable and sluggish, as a result, they often reach for the laxative, only to find that it is nothing more than a temporary relief.
  • Not many people are aware that for thousands of years the Indians have solved similar problems with Triphala – an Ayurvedic herbal rasayana formula consisting of equal parts of three fruits from India: Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Biblitaki (Terminalia Billerica) and Haritaki (Terminalia chebula).
  • Recent medical research conducted by several leading academic institutions in India such as the Bhabha Atomic Research Center and the Jawaharlal Nehru University have revealed that Triphala has a significant medical value as a potential detoxifying and anti-cancer agent.
  • Triphala is a laxative, but unlike other common herbal laxatives, it supports every system of the body, including the nervous system, the excretory system, the digestive system and the circulatory system. It is a tonic for the heart and liver, as well as effective against irritable Bowel Syndrome and colitis.
  • Triphala cleanses and detoxifies the entire body. It tones the digestive tracts, so that you never feel bloated again. It also regulates constipation and diarrhea ending the pain and inconvenience associated with such ailments.
  • Triphala helps digestion. It makes sure that your body extracts every particle of nourishment from the food you eat. This is especially important as we age, because all our internal system slow down. Improved digestion also relieves symptoms like heartburn and gastric reflux.
  • Since Triphala is both antiviral and antibacterial, it has an anti-inflammatory effect that relieves pain. It promotes appetite, increases the number of red blood cells, removes undesirable fat in the body, and has been found to reduce high blood pressure.
  • To maintain continuous good health, once started Triphala should be taken every day of your life, but consult with your physician on how many tablets you should take a day.
The above pointers are for informational purpose only. Consult with your physician before taking any herb, herbal tonic or plant extract.

The Benefits and Concerns about Alternative Medicine

A growing number of people are turning to alternative medicine and natural healing low-tech methods of preventing illnesses and solving everyday health problems. They argue that conventional medicine is becoming too complicated, costly and in some cases ineffective.

Critics argue that alternative medicine includes treatments and substances that are untested by accepted scientific standards, and are mostly ineffective and could be dangerous for some medical conditions.

These are the generally accepted facts about alternative medicine:

  • Common types of alternative medicine include herbs, supplements, therapies, and activities programs not recognized by conventional medical practice. Acupuncture, massage, meditation, herbal teas and plant extracts are a few examples.
  • These alternative remedies, have been around for over 5,000 years. Supporters argued that any harm from alternative medicine arises not from the herbal remedies themselves, but from an abuse of their use.
  • Even mainstream physicians have begun to recommend natural drugless therapies to treat everyday complaints and serious illnesses. Dietary modification has become the weapon of choice against several diseases that would have been treated mainly with prescription drugs a generation ago.
  • It is now known that illnesses such as heart attack, cancer, weight problems, arthritis, diabetes and high blood pressure are caused by the wrong diet. All of these illnesses can be treated to some degree with diet modification and regular exercise.

Yet the criticism of alternative medicine has caused uncertainty among many who wish to test its effectiveness against illnesses that conventional medicine has failed to cure. The criticism is focused on three areas:

  • The danger that the herbs and plant extracts from alternative medicine will be taken in excessive amounts and cause negative physiological reaction in the body and make the condition worse.
  • Too much reliance on alternative medicine will cause persons with serious medical conditions like cancer, heart attack or some other chronic illness to forego conventional treatments that have been proven to be effective.
  • When a patient does not tell his physician that he is receiving alternative treatment, ingesting both herbs or plant extracts and prescription medications at the same time could produce harmful physiological interaction within the body.
  • On the other hand, while antibiotics have saved millions of lives, they are no match to some resurgent germs that are turning up in mutated forms. Since alternative medicine seeks to examine the physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental and social conditions of the whole person, it has become the cure of last resort for many who suffer from illnesses that conventional medicine has so far failed to cure.

The above pointers are for informational purpose only. Be sure to seek advice from your physician before taken any herb or plant extracts.
